I will often work in charcoal prior to working on a pet portrait. It helps me to work on the overall composition and scale I will work with paint. I really love the energy of charcoal, using working lines  , blending, smudging and enhancing the lines with dark hard scribbles and yet it maintains a delicacy .The orginal charcoal drawing is the cartridge paper is A3 in size 420 x 300 mm , please get in touch via email if you would like a further look at the images, they work beautifully as sets  and of course I can work in differing sizes according to your needs.
