My work.
What I daydream about on runs.
The questions that make me light up.

Welcome to my online home. I am a creative non-profit and higher education leader who believes in the power of learning communities--whether in a classroom, a board room or on the concert stage.

I’ve just returned to my alma mater, Eastman School of Music, to teach and lead their new Master of Arts in Music Leadership graduate degree. Prior to this appointment, I have held leadership positions at two major cultural institutions--New England Conservatory in Boston and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. At NEC, I founded the Entrepreneurial Musicianship Department, a strategic initiative focused on equipping young musicians with the leadership skills they need to be competitive in the 21st century.  As Director of Strategic Planning Engagement with ASO, I facilitated a strategic planning process that brought together administrative staff, musicians and trustees to evolve and implement a new vision for the orchestra.

An alumna of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, I designed an individualized course of study focused on leadership and organizational development. During the summer of 2015, I participated in a one-month socio-economic and political research trip and two-month teaching fellowship in Southeast Asia, sponsored by the Asia Center for Leadership Initiatives.

In these pages you will find work samples, articles, and how I can help you. Whether it's joining the unfolding conversation on my blog or reaching out with a proposal or question, I'd love to hear from you.
